Alan Cook

Hi, my name is Alan Cook and I am an Independent Member of the South East Region Council of the Caravan and Motorhome Club.

 

I enjoyed my first caravan holidays as a child with my parents back in 1969. Some years later and married with two daughters aged 5 and 2, we bought our first caravan in 1989 for £500 from the Friday Ad. We so enjoyed it that we traded it in at the end of the year and have enjoyed several different makes and brands over the last 3 decades.

 

Our touring now makes good use of both Club Sites and the wonderful array of CLs; we have toured literally from Trevedra Club Site at Lands End to Dunnet Bay close to John O'Groats.

 

On retirement a couple of years ago we changed caravans again, moving back to a four berth so that we can enjoy outings with our young grandchildren. Our present van is a Swift Elegance.
